We are two sisters sharing the passion for Norwegian Forest Cats.
It all started with Belle - a cat purchased by Trine in 2004 as a social friend for her domestic cat. After experiencing this amazing breed we start visiting shows to get a better knowledge about showing and breeding Norwegians.
We created contact to breeders and after second trial, our first litter was born December 2006.
Our plan for breeding is 2-3 litters a year - and visiting shows about once a month depending on the cats (mostly Denmark, Sweden and Germany)
Privately Trine is employed as Sales consultant in theVeterinarian Sector and Rikkes is a Pension Adviser in the Financial Sector.
We are living very close, helping and supporting each other with the cats.
Despite 10 years age difference we are sharing the interest for Disney movies - and that explains the names of our kittens
Rikkes lives in a department with access to fresh air at a balcony - used as a closed pet yard. Trine moved in spring 2010 to a house with fenced garden.
We have in common 5 breeding females , 1 male, 1 co-owned breeding male and 3 neuters.
We breed in all colours and patterns - but mostly silver, red and tortie (diluting colours creme and blue)
Our vision is to create Norwegian Forest Cats that are typical breed specific and with a lovely independent temperament.
We breed in accordance with FIFe - and by Felis Danicas rules.
We are members of Racekatten and Norsk Skovkattering
We test for HCM after pawpeds recommandation and all our breeding cats are negative for HCM and GSD4.
Trine is certified at Pawpeds Academy G1, G2 and G3. Trine is chief assistant at Racekatten
We are living 15 kilometers outside Copenhagen in a town called Herlev
